Heading to Bali

Postby gibsonandpickett » Tue Jul 07, 2009 6:23 am

Hi guys ,im heading to Bali in a couple of weeks, I have eclipse thruster 09 12 metre kite and a 16 metre 08 kite. I bought the 16 metre just for bali but find it very boring to ride compared to my 12 metre. I have a 138 by 39 cab board. Its just to slow. Should i take the 12 metre and get a bigger board or stick with the 16. I can only take 1 kite. Cheers Steve

it depends of your weight
I am 78 kg and I kite in Bali with a 14 m² + a 145 x 43 board.
Wind doesn't blow more than 14 knots and is very light
Spot is at Sanur.
if you are above 75kg Iwould recommend 16 m
below you might take a 12 with a surf board
