On the V3 I changed the bushing (it was starting to break up) after about 2 months of using it alot. The screw wasn't loose but I used blue loctite when I put it back together again.
I have a prowave which is really smooth in the surf. I was going to put loctite here as well but I couldn't get the screw to turn.
There are replacement bushings which come with the replacement parts. I now check this every now and then.
My toe side riding has really improved and I can use a seat harness.
