i have the 2009 one and love it.

over the years had 5 - 6 kite specific surf boards, from local custom things, to naish custom quads.. but nothing beats the celeritas for the crappy onshore / cross shore most mortals have to live with.

its got a flat rocker to gets going great. flies up wind, is easy (relative) to gybe cos its fat. its short so its fine for the limited set of tricks i can do.

i love it.

i just got the 5' 4" and it is a blast

it is fast and a real blast to ride - great light wind mushy wave board

i'm riding it strapless but it is one of the few boards that i think the straps are in the right position

considering how balanced the board is, i think maybe the 5' 8" version might have been a better choice as a little more nose might be helpful in steeper waves

construction is top notch and the pads are nice, straps are just ok

i put down a full deck pad so had to remove the rear pad which was a pain - i wish companies would not premount the pads

i noticed waiman has nice looking 5'8" wide surf board that looks similar in design that might be an option

i rode the wh 5'8" wide and i like it but i represent sling for the local retailer so.....

i think 5'8" will be the better choice for me, to my riding confitions, level, etc.... am i right???

i am crap but the 5.4 works just great for me.. if you are riding the waves with the power of the wave then maybe go for the bigger board. if you are using the kite for power then maybe go for the smaller one.
