is like an old kite quiet and safe, never falling, stays always up there.
rebels have horsepower and speed(but not turning speed)so if you are not concentrate, tired and make mistakes you find them in the water with waves rolling if not relaunch soon.
yumping with reb is unbelieveble not so with veg.
in the waves easy to find "game over"with reb not so with veg.
flat water low wind do not buy veg,but rough conditions less risk more safety with them.
reb.run veg walk.
This very personal sensation.
i am 73 kg amateur veg 7 reb 5 9 kontact 6.3 6.0 in sardinia with very variable mistral and conditions.
I will wait for new veg 5 2011 and try reb first

I'm basically agree with Piccio. I tried Rebel and VEgas and I decided for the Rebel. They are similar (The Vegas is far to be a C kite as it should be) with the advantage that the Rebel has an incredible wind range and it even jumps better. Size depends on the wind you are used to have in your spot, you didn´t mentioned.

I wouldn`t say the Rebel jumps better than the Vegas, the Rebel will give you more float but it doesn`t go any higher than the Vegas thats for sure...

I haven't ridden a Rebel and am the proud owner of a 7, 10 & 12 2010 Vegas. I can say that the 10 jumps exceptionally well when properly powered.

It does jump astonishingly well.

I haven't yet tried my 7 yet but I imagine it will out jump the 10, if that is possible.
