I got a 6m & 10m Bandit III - and absolutely love the 10m.
I´ve taken the 6m out maybe 4-5 times, most often in stormy wind where I didn´t practice anything new (should add I´m about an "intermediate level" kiter, just started working on unhooking and the unhooked railey). Yesterday it was not stormy and quite windy, a bit gusty, but not too bad.
The 6m often backstalls on me (never happened with the 10 no matter wind conditions) so I rode it almost completely depowered, both the backlines and clam cleat to avoid this from happening. Since I have to ride it like this in the low end (25-30), I´m guessing I also have to ride it like this in high wind? (I did when I used it before) So I can´t really benefit from the depower much...?
My "problem" though is that its superfast - this might be my skills, or lack thereof
I could do backrolls and frontrolls yesterday, but didn´t try unhooking after crashing a jumping backloop transition, kite going "around" so I had to kite in to straighten out the lines. Usually I wouldn´t "complain" that a kite is fast, my old Naish Helix 7 I liked for the speed, but the 6m Bandit III feels like a wasp to me. Maybe my 2-kite quiver should have been 7 & 10, but I do like to be able to also go out when it is cranking 40+ and most other people sit inside or at home, so that´s why I took the 6.
Anyone has experiences with the 6m they would like to share?
Does it have a "sweet spot" that I haven´t discovered yet since I haven´t had stable 30-35 knots with it (yet) ?
