Crossbow 2011 Race Edition

Postby OzBungy » Wed Nov 17, 2010 12:33 am

Has anybody got one of these kites? Can you comment on it?

I am told they are expensive, light, made from some laminated film/scrim material. Any reports from actual users?

I believe they are still prototyping the Race kite. To clarify the laminate is not necessarily lighter, but definitely stiffer..

That's all i got!

For me it looks like a delay. I cannot findt any info about the racing on Cabrinha website anymore.
I am not patient enough so I got CB16m. I've never possed so big kite. Last 4 seasons powered by max 10m.
What a sluggish but powerfull machine. Main tube looks for me like the biggest sausage in the world  It took me twice longer to pump it.
Great wind range.

I am ready for next season racing then :D
