After burning my brain for weeks I discovered that Bob from www.kiteridersllc.com had the best stuff at the best prices. I ended up buying 4 boards, a Goe Joe and a Kite at insane prices. He will sell you whats best for you. He never gets tired of answering questions. Give him a call.

Welcome. Where are you located at?

I have a web site that lists shops in areas around the world, it is still a big work in progress, but you should be able to find some useful information there.

http://www.kitesurfinfo.com

Good luck.

Are you taking any lessons?
Have you ever kited before?
Do us a favor and take lessons first.
Watch the latest wipeout video and you know why.

But, there is a lot of gear out there, you can get 08 gear for real cheap.
Don't get anything older. No reason even if you can get it for dirt cheap, go for the latest you can afford .
If you want a great deal, check with Eclipse. http://www.eclipsekiteboarding.net/

I use them so I might be a bit bias , sorry.

Thanks guys, yeah I've only had lessons at the mo so now wanna dig in & enjoy myself. I'm based in Tenerife so will be kiting at El Medano while the rest of you freeze your nuts off back home :naughty:

I'm a big stocky guy packing 105kg's into a 6' frame & considering a 12m Naish Cult at the moment which has been recommended by a friend, not sure about a board yet though & I may end up renting for a month until next months payday.
