Hey, I'm from Montreal and going to Hatteras, NC this May for a week of riding.

Friend of mine told me that most of the time wind blows around 20 knots over there.

Well, I guess my kite, North Rebel 12 will be too much for this.

Would you guys recommend any local store in Hatteras where I could buy used (but in good condition) North Kite?

There is no reason that you won't routinely go through a 3 kite quiver here. Bring your 12, it'll be fine. If you need a light wind kite or its honking and you need a 7 or 9, somebody will have one used for you. You may even get to demo something for free, and I think Real even rents kites now.
