wakeboarder hoping to expand!

Postby veazer » Wed Mar 09, 2011 7:58 pm

Hey everyone, I live in VA in the USA, and I have become a fairly good wakeboarder over the past few years... Every summer my family goes to frisco, (cape hatteras) and I really want to learn to kiteboard this summer during the week I'm there. 2 real questions:

1) I know I want lessons, but with who ( good and close to frisco?)?

2) should I do anything to prepare in the coming months? (trainer kite, videos, or something like that?)

I'm already in great shape and have good board control with wakeboarding, so yeah... Also, I'm only there for a week each year.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Good move man.
Nice to see a wakeboarder with an open mind.
do as much as you can with a trainer kite, this will hone your reflex which will shorten your schooling big time.

If anyone could recommend a cheap trainer kite i should get? Looking for something cheap, not necessarily high tech.

Also, anything relating to the first post would help as well.
