both great all around kites and will do whatever you want

and take lessons so your instructor can help you decide
if no lessons, make sure you tell people which hospital you decide

Welcome to the forum. The 2013 Slingshot Rally does not come in a 13m(14 or 12m). Use the search function and you will get some very good ino on the Rally.

As a begineer I gained very beneficial information from my 3 day instruction. It helps a lot and strongly recommend you to take lessons prior to your adventure. Otherwise you may have some unwanted conclusions.
Size of the kites matter based on the loocation and your weight. Your instructor will also guide on that.

Does the OP sound like he's asking you to tell him to take classes? :argue:

I'm tired of looking at topics where instead of answering the OP's questions, they say to "take classes." Like everyone is so dumb and without friends that taking classes is the only thing on the planet and kitesurfing is all about taking classes.
Incredibly rude... knotwindy and Ozzie
