Hi Guys,
Well my instructor got me on the board!!! Few short runs showing me how to slow down so I can be safe... Shout out to Brett Newcomb of Prokite in South Padre Island very cool person to know!!!
My HUGE problem is that I'm thinking all day every day that I want to go back to the Island and continue!!! lol Good thing is that I'm about an hour and 30 minutes away, going every weekend... This is sooooo Cool!!!!

I don't see a problem there... seems about normal to me.
Welcome to the sport!

yes, that's definitely a problem we all share...it is called stoke!
Enjoy it and get on the water as much as you can!
Do you have a missy? Make sure she understands that she plays the second role from now on

Welcome! Just keep getting out there. The more you practice and get comfortable the faster you will progress. You are on your way... there will be some frustrating moments but that's all part of the steep learning curve. Stick with it!

Sorry to tell you it gets worse before it gets better.
I gave my wife way too much spite going for family outings on windy days.

Greetings,
I have even a bigger problem than this. I have access to the ocean and nice wind almost every day. Problem is, I have no other kiteboarders to go with, no kite and am just starting out.
Curious enough, I am going to learn on my own and am interested in some company if anyone is interested in coming out to Manu'a to join me. I have accomidations as well. Thanks for any help and input in the matter. Zoltar
