Jim from Philadelphia, sailing at LBI

Postby gapagod » Mon Apr 10, 2017 4:08 am

Hi everyone,

I am thrilled to be here! I've just taken lessons in Mexico and am comfortable with basic riding. I need some decent air so I can advance to riding upwind and such. I come from sailing, windsurfing, flying sailplanes, scuba, etc. This is about the last thing on my bucket list.

I have a 2009 Ocean Rodeo Rise 12M in almost new shape, a new 145 board, and all the gear. I'm very much looking forward to broadening my horizons. I expect my first forays will be to Kite Island in May. April is too cold, so I'll sail instead for now.

As with most sports, they are best shared together, both for camaraderie and safety. If anyone is willing to take me under their wing at KI, St. James or Harvey Cedars, I'd much appreciate it. I am available most any weekend.

Thanks.

Jim
