I was reading Ben Wilson's tips for riding onshore right handers. He talks about 2 options, figure 8s and downlooping. At the moment, I figure 8 but I think downlooping will be better for my wrists. I have VERY mild carpal tunnel, and the only activity that aggravates is onshore waves. Has anyone else had the same experience? If I do switch techniques, how many times can you loop and still steer?
Usually I'm hooked in, I know that's also part of the problem. Sheeting in while toeside is an ergonomically unfriendly wrist position, wrist is bent while pulling. I'm trying to unhook more but I keep stalling the kite in the turns.

More importantly.... how many times can you loop before the safety system is compromised???

Good point about the safety. I'll start looping it twice, maybe try 3 loops max before spinning the bar.
