I am sorry to hear about your board. I had a board stolen while in Ireland in October...but GOT IT BACK!!! thanks to the help of the Irish kiters and Garda.

The key to it's recovery is I immediately made a police report and then I posted it on the Irish forums. Then another kiter who I never met noticed it on eBay the next day and sent me a message. Garda (police) were notified and through a beautiful sequence of events, the Garda collected the board from the thieves search warrant in hand, and returned it to me thru a couple other Irish kiters. It was good sleuthing and quite the sting operation!

Keep putting the word out, and make record of any distinguishable marks, serial numbers, etc, watch eBay, Craigs List, etc...I've seen a few other boards recovered this way.

Good luck and let us know if you find it.

In the meantime...keep enjoying yourself and don't let the bastards get you down. I was upset for about an hour and then just decided not to let it ruin my trip.
