Did anybody tried out this kitefish board? I want to get into this skimboard thing for a few reasons (ligthwind capabilities (c-kite 11m is my bigger kite at 75 kg) and practice my strapless skills), I tried the nobile skimboard and I liked it. But I am curious about the liquid force board because if it feels like a skimboard would be great to have it as well to play in the waves.
I usually don’t get waves but I like the point of having a board that I can have both skim and surf. But as I said I mainly interested in skim.
So anybody tried both? Which one would recommend?
Thanks in advance! good winds!!!

if you are into skimboards, you might also consider the LF twinskim. i havent tried it, cause i am not into skimboarding that much, but saw a lot of people riding it near san francisco area in light winds.
ride on...

I have had the LF Kitefish for about 6-7 weeks and love it. It shoots straight upwind, is awesome in surf (up to overhead), and rides backwards almost as well as regular once you get used to it.
Most importantly, it is pure fun. This thing cuts through chop. Its ok for jumping. I am not great riding strapless, so I have no review there. Its an awesome board and at $350 its the best value of fun to price out there. You will be very happy with it.

I have both of these boards and they are quite different.
The Nobile skim isn't really a true skim, more of a wide strapless twin tip. It's not drawn in at the tail enough which makes it a poor skim for waves. It is super fun in the flat stuff for ollies, shuv-its and grab transition type tricks. It's very light. I'll sell you mine if you're in the US. Cheap.
The LF fish weighs a freakin ton, which means no grabby flippy tricks. It is much more like riding a very loose, flat and wide surfboard. It's a great board for lightwind and for learning strapless riding and tacks. It's too flat for any waves except really small mush. Basically it's like riding a boat, super stable and unsinkable.
