then you already know it!
It has also the distances from the beaches around a beach...and then just check with Google Earth where you can measure the distance ;-)

You should try to get accomodations in Blouberg Strand. The kiting takes place along the beach in Blouberg Strand. Langebaan is a flatwater spot about an hour away from Blouberg. Wind blows like a MF in Cape Town, no need for kites bigger than 12M, have fun. The last time I was there I got my ass kicked on a 7M and 45MPH winds.

Hey...
I stay in Cape Town, Blouberg area....
You are coming to the BEST kite place in the WORLD...
The proof is in the pudding....

Aaron Hadlow, Ruben Lenten, Kevin Langeree, Sabastian Cattalan, Alex Caizergues all come here for a few months every year, round Dec - March.. they find it the perfect training ground...
Summer winds normally average 15knts up.. normally peaking at 30knts... but we've had a few days the past week, that were ave 32knts, gusting 42knts, with Ruben Lenten pulling the most insane boosting Loops i have ever seen... Go to his website, and he's left a comment there saying it's one of the biggest insane loops he's ever pulled...

So yeah, Cape Town ROCKS when it comes to Kiting...
Langebaan is 98km from Blouberg... takes you just on an hour. Thats up the West Coast.
You could even go to BrandVlei, which is more inland, also about an hour, maybe hour and half...
Then down South Coast, you got Hermanus, awesome lagoon as well.. also about hour and a half...
Plenty place to kite...

Enjoy.

You already got all the info, all I wanna say is LUCKY BASTARD!!!!!
Cape Town is a wonderfull place, it is not only about the kiting which is GREAT, it is about the people, nature and the general vibe and specially for me, something I always dream about, the steaks, the best you could ever have ( ), you should visit Cattle Baron in Table view and you can thank me later! oh yes and order a malva pudding while you're at it!
