Any Kitesurfing near Leeds?

Hi All,

I'm a Canadian moving to the Leeds area for the summer and was wondering if there was anywhere near Leeds to ride without having to go to the east coast? This is probablly a stupid question but is there any lake riding around?

Any help would be appreciated!

Lake kiting doesn't really happen much in the UK - think I heard that no where in the UK is more than 50 ish miles from the sea?
