I just went out once so far...with the proto of a 555 16.0. Nice kite, had good fun with it!

Will try all during the tour...need also to find all differences between 555 and NHP.
And the boards of course.

Nobile can't go everywhere, it needs support from local shops who carry the gear.
The plane only carries minimum gear (basically just for the riders in the plane), the rest gets shipped to super demos (South Padre Island, Corpus Christie, Hood River, Hatteras).

And don't wonder if you see all of us in almost the same clothes always...we are very limited with weight ! ;-)

Let's see if we get the plane up into the air tomorrow!!!

on Wednesday, May 7th we should be in Houston.

Our contact shop there is XL Kites, Michael Percy (850) 974-5483

Get in touch with him for details!

Then we will be in South Padre Island and Corpus Christie for the WWO event.

We're hoping the wind will show up this year for the WWO in corpus. You would have been blown away if you came here in march or april. March had about 25 days of wind in the 20-35 range. April was just as good.

we will get there, maybe tomorrow, for sure for the event.

Looks like Fort Walton today, but limited gear.
The in Corpus Christie all gear should be available.

See you there!

Toby what do you ride these days?

How is the low end of the 12m 555 and 666 versus other kites out there.
I just got the 666 board 129 and I love it.
thanks
v

I don't know. Need to test it, but for me riding a 12 it needs to be at least 20 knots...didn't have that yet!

May 7th + 8th

The plane is still not ready and has some problems. Mike and Toby didn't want to wait in Vero Beach anymore without wind, and Mike had to be at the competition, they rented a car and drove for 21 hours from Vero Beach Florida to Corpus Christi, Texas. The weather here has about 30°C and the water about 28°C. The wind today was weaker than the days before, about 10-14 knots
