looks OK, but it's too tall for my liking. shortens the available throw in the bar. that is one of the reasons i don't like this style of quick release.

The safety fuse is for the 5 th line. When you open QR the bar fly away the 5th willl stay into the fuse but the fuse can broke if the 5th pull too. (Sorry for the english)

I'm going to help old "bucket head" out on this one.
If you ride suicide and unhooked, clip in on the 5:th AND the safety fuse. The idea is that if there is a violent pull from the kite, the fuse breaks and the kite goes to the 5:th line. I don't know how much force that is needed to break it... but i have seen them broken. So i suppose that they work
(But they don't send you any extra bits with the kite.)

Looks nice enough, but doesn't seem to being anything new. In fact, compared to the latest crop of control bars, it's lacking in a few areas.
For eaxmple, the JN Switchcraft does all this, gives you 4 sizes on one bar and locks the chicken loop in position when unhooking (which I think is awesome)
This bar is also missing the feature of being able to swing the donkey d**k out of the way when switching from hooked to unhooked riding
