Hello everybody, one quick question, I'm starting to kite and looking for a kiteboard.
My height = 6 ft
My weight = 185 lb
My kite = Best Waroo 13 m
Which board size will be the best to start with?
I heard some people recommending longer boards to start, but how long?
143? Like the Best Aroona
151? Like the LF Proof
179? Like the Litewave
Thanks in advance for your help!
Ron

For your weight and quiver i would say you need a board of 138-142cm.
Lately i have been using Aboards 2008 Flip board that is meant for begginers. I am teaching on 146cm model but that is a long and wide board for very first lessons and light wind. As soon as you progress further a bit shorter board. So i would say that go for Aboards 138cm which will be fine for you for 1st season. What is also good with Aboards that they have concave for quicker planning and easier upwind.

All around board for your weight ? 135-140 x 42-44 works in my opinion best
150+ boards are either only for learning or lightwind kiting ( heavy & hard to edge when getting powered up )
