Dear Kitesurf Associations-

Please find letter below from IKA
We have forwarded this on to as many National associations as possible however so far feedback has been slow.

I urge you to send a representative to this meeting which will be held at the Dusseldorf Boot Fair ( Boat Show) on the 24th and 25th January 2009

This is highly important for the future of Kitesurfing Worldwide

Please forward this to any one who you may know who has responsibility for National Associations ( which must have committee and constitution )

Dear Richard, (Ceri Williams, IKA committee and all national associations
known to us in copy)

it was kind of you to go to the trouble of making a draft for our agenda.
However, this meeting is called, and is being hosted, by the IKA.
The meeting will be chaired by IKA prsident, Christian Conrad, and it is
therefore our responsibility to set dates, venue and agenda.

The meeting will be held on the weekend 24./25. of January in Dusseldorf
during boot exhibition. We will book a conference room depending on the
feedback and number of participants.

The meeting is mainly intended to constitute the relationship between the
IKA and the national associations in a multilateral meeting, as well as
negotiating about extending the IKA with the necessary sub-committees, their
roles and responsibilities etc.

Depending on further pre-negotiations, the IKA might invite additional
private tour operators and organizers to bi-lateral consultations.

The provisional agenda is as follows, amendmends may be made from feedback
received and times adjusted after confirmation date of attendance:

TOP 1: Welcome and introduction
TOP 2: Brief overview about IKA history, ISAF actions and decision,
responsibility, rights
TOP 3: IKAs idea of integrating national kite associations and other
sub-committees (voting and non-voting)
TOP 4: Questions and answers

TOP 6: Responsibilities of national class associations sub-committee
TOP 7: Election of interim seat toward the IKA committee
TOP 8: Constitution of audit sub-committee (more information to follow as

of interim seat

Confirmation of attendance shall be made until 15th of January. All national
kite associations are invited to this meeting and may confirm their
attendance to info@internationalkiteboarding.org. Please feel
free to distribute this invitation to all interested national associations.

Questions shall be prepared, circulated and - whenever possible, answered -
in advance, as we will have a tight schedule.
