Some cold greetings from Sweden right now

Postby i96dansa » Tue Feb 24, 2009 7:39 pm

Hi all,
We see lots and lots of nice pictures of blue waters and warm sun on this forum. That is however not the reality for alot of dedicated surfers up north (Sweden).

Here are some cool pictures from a session 2 days ago (Sunday). I was at home sick throwing up and hammering the toilet for not being able to go surfing but my friends were representing big time.

Congrats to the wainman rabitt who now has passed the cold-as-hell-surf-test.
Past success stories include my waroos. Especially the -08 waroo with the new valves. Great kite for snow-storm-surfing.

Does anyone know how to deal with the icing that builds up on the bar? Oh, yeah. When you drop the kite in the water the wing-tips freeze when it takes of again but that can be solved by some violent whipping about.

Enjoy.
