2009 KITEUS RACE RULES, SERIES OVERVIEW, CLASSES AND ACCUMULATED POINTS
On Saturday April 25th the course will be set up for everyone to get their feet wet. Come on out and run the course, meet the crew and register for races that start Sunday April 26th through Friday May 1st. Our plan is to run multiple heats as qualifiers (weather permitting) with a final on the same day for each class. A traditional triangle course layout is planned, but we may mix it with a downwind race ocean side and/or capture the flag, etc. We will post the agenda, standings, results and day-to-day updates on the KiteUS Forum starting Friday April 24th. After the team takes a look at the extended forecast Friday we also post a tentative race schedule for the week and post it here. http://www.kiteus.com/forums/index.php? ... =7667&st=0
Each race day will start with a rider’s meeting in the Monster Tent at approximately 10am to 11am. The rider’s meeting is where the daily the course layout, conditions, rules, classes and specifics for that day will be explained to the registered riders. If riders cannot make the rider’s meeting, but wants to race that day, be sure to contact the race contacts below to get any updates or changes.
