PRESS RELEASE: Snowkite Fundraiser for Search and Rescue - GTO III January 15th – 17th 2010
Underground Kite Sports is pleased to announce that we will be holding the Georgetown Open Snowkite event and fundraiser again this winter. As in previous years the GTO III will be a fundraiser for Search and Rescue.
Due to global weather effects that have been plaguing us all, the Georgetown Open 3 (GTO III) will be held over the weekend of January 15th – 17th 2010, instead of the first weekend in December as in previous years.
Sponsorship deals are available for anyone wanting to be a part of Montana’s largest snowkite event. Some of the current sponsors include, but are not limited to Underground Kite Sports, Epic Kites, North Kites, NSI, Flow snowboarding, Southern Oregon Kite Addicts, Epic Kites, Granite County Search and Rescue, and many more.
The event this year will include equipment demos, free kite lessons, races, freestyle competitions, raffle contests, our famous parties, and much more. In the event that Mother Nature doesn’t co-operate with us and bring us wind, we have several activities planned that can be done without wind.
Come join us in a fun and exciting event that also helps out our friends at Search and Rescue.
