I still havent heard from eclipse regarding the inherit problems with the bar. It is very dangerous, you cannot depower while riding and still near impossible to depower it when the kite is in edge of wind windowsitting on beach. The quick release on chicken loop seized solid. No one answers questions on web site. This bar is an accident waiting to happen.

I have to agree, this bar is terrible. Have had mine for maybe 5months and the thing is corroding everywhere. Safety release barely works at this point. Swivel above loop is seized solid, and forget about depowering when kite has any power in it. Bottom line terrible design and a very dangerous bar. DO NOT BUY THIS BAR!!!
In case anyone wonders I do rinse my gear after each session and the bar is still disolving. Just cheap materials.
