shape X performance

Postby mocolombo » Wed Sep 30, 2009 2:06 pm

Hey guys,

I'd like to start a discussion of kite's shape (C, sle, bow, delta, sigma, ...) versus performance, specially in light winds, so in big sizes kites.

All of shapes and technologies goes well in strong winds, some better, some worse.. but in light winds, big kites are almost boring.

So i and i think a lot of people also, is looking for a light wind kite that performance well in light wind, like 10 or 11 Knots. This performance is low end power, turning speed, and NOT back stalling. And, in my opinion, in that case the shape is very very important.

We have to find the perfect world between lowend power and fast turning speed. Did anybody find this kite (or shape)???
