1. PBI kiters, has the annual shark migration started yet?
2. In key Biscayne are there a lot of Portugeese Jeelyfish swimming around?

Sharks are a fact of ocean life. They might need a bit warmer conditions but ther are always sharks. Stay vigilant and do not kite into bait balls if you see a lot of bait in the water keep to the shallows.
Miami kiters will have to answer the other question. I saw a lot in the keys back in late Nov. Still not too much of a problem if you keep a watch for them.

Recently in the keys kiting & jelly fish were not an issue at all. Plus it's cold so you're wearing a wetsuit anyways (or atleast I was at Christmas/New Years) but I hate being cold!

I haven't heard reports of spinners and blacktips have moved up the coast yet. This is the time of year it happens at least last year. Usually I would expect to see more in March. Lemon sharks are here though, went diving with them last weekend to get some pictures. More
HERE .
We get Portuguese blowing in pretty much when the wind is out of the NE to E in the cooler months. Sightings have been light this year so far however we did see some off Palm Beach last weekend. If there are NE to E winds I would expect to see them in Biscayne Bay in Miami, however numbers will vary with each frontal cycle.
