Hi
I’m thinking about going to Brazil one month from mid December to mid January.
I’m on the lookout for waves only. I usually go to Cape Town in dec/jan but this year I might try something new. However I’m not sure if Brazil has good waves and if there is still wind this time of year.
Are there better places to go? I’ve also thought about Australia but I’ve heard that a lot of driving is needed. What about Barbados, will that be the place to go?
I hope to hear about your experiences.
Cheers
Boris.

stick new zealand on your list. in particular taranaki. la nina is supposed to be back this year which means a constant stream of solid westerlies.
Our wind angle is pretty much perfect for wave riding.
oct, nov, dec are best for the strongest winds. Jan gets more sea brease winds. though 20-25 knot days are still rife

Brazil, Barbados, Western Australia, Philippines - all good but totally different experiences depending on what you are searching for.
I like the sound of NZ....

Sorry, but an "El Nino" just seams to start...
The last two/three years showed a mild "La Nina".
