Weired thing happens to me...I want to ride blind, and my quick release on the 2012 North Bar opens...at almost all attempts!
Anyone else had this and knows a solution?
Thanks
Toby

I shorten elastic wire inside QR every bar I have and problem happens once a year more or less while 3 4 times before shortening.
last two session it happened to my brother using my bar ,he is 100 kg ,25 more than me.
maybe wire weakens after some time and should be tensioned again but I am not sure .
it happened in normal riding ,I'd like know solution too ,cannot say when riding blind

Charming at 20 knots!
I tried different harnesses...no luck.
Maybe try without the chicken dick?

I have several North kites. NONE have ever released on their own. However, the Dyno I have is the one I did release last time out because the kite was going to get worked in the sure. Once I got to shore and sorted things out and reset the Iron heart, I went back out and in the 2nd pass is when it released on ite own. I have never released any of my other North bars. Could it have something to do with this when you release and there has been some tension on the bar system that something gets out of whack??
Dan at North, any ideas????

Toby,
This may seem off-topic, but have you tried the Flysurfer Speed 3 21M with the Infinity 2.0 bar? Flysurfer added a stopper ball to the line, so you can get maximum hangtime. Might be a nice alternative to the Dyno on lighter days.

a stopper ball is good, but not as good as a microloop.
many of my tricks rely on the microloop!
