5th KTA Philippines - Boracay Island 2014

2014 sees the 5th season for the KTA on Boracay, and as always are extremely excited to once again be invited to be bring Asia’s largest Kiteboarding competitions to the number one island of the Philippines. This seasons event will follow suit of the previous year’s boasting freestyle, TT and RB class racing, which will once again attract some of not only the Top Asian riders but some of the top riders in the World, plus of course we are all looking forward to seeing the ‘groms’ racing again this year after their inaugural blast into the event last year. Boracay is not the unofficial birth place of the KTA Kite Kids for nothing

It is fantastic to once again be supported this year as our event hosts role the luxury property development that is Aqua Boracay by Yoo

Aqua Boracay by Yoo (www.aquaboracay.com) is Bulabogs most prestigious beachside residential development on the world-famous Boracay Island, many times named the Best Island in the World by international travel and leisure magazines.

Aqua Boracay by Yoo is set amongst 16,000 square meteres of lush tropical rainforest, positioned on the heart of Bulabog Beach, the watersports haven of the island.

Aqua Boracay by Yoo is the first resort residence designed by the Yoo design studio in the Philippines. Based in London, the award winning design, marketing and branding company has been working with international developers on a multitude of residential, hotel, and commercial projects throughout Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa, North and South America, and the Middle East. The KTA for one is looking forward to seeing the progress that has been made since out last competition visit in early 2013.

The completion will carry an equipment prize value of USD 15,000 split equally between the Freestyle RB and TT classes for the top three positions male and female.
