Toby, I called a North Dealer here in the US and they tell me North discontinued the micro loop on their bars back in 2008. Where are you getting the micro loops for your bars?

No, that is not correct.
They stopped selling the bar with a ML already attached.
Since 2008 you can buy an upgrade kit (about 15 Euro I think), and add a loop to the bar, and a hook to the Iron Heart.
This is for 2008-2012. not possible with 2013 bars.

Just look at what Cesar did some replies before...that's the only way possible, if you want to have a ML with a quick release.
You need a North Iron Heart 2008-2012.
Or get a windsurf loop...but this one is very dangerous since you cannot release it...

I'm looking to go air style, jumping high was one of the main attractions for me back when. However, I do not ride North kites nor North bars, and so I am troubled by how to set about converting my bars (Naish & Blade) for a micro loop. I will defo not go down the windsurfing loop route, as way too dangerous.
Caesar you seem to have converted an Epic bar successfully, would you mind telling us how. My worry is that by drilling through my bars I will weaken them. I also assume I'll have to replace the quick release for the North one, a potential problem on the Naish because that includes the below bar depower cleat.
Ta fellas

Hi mate,
I don't know your Naish bar, sorry.
Here is a pic of the converted Epic bar (which I sold together with all other Epic gear I owned).
Cheers
