This sounds very good :-)

Good to know Master Toby is still on it :-)

I agree! Own tour, higher price money.

Well, I really am keen on knowing how your 32m work out on your 18m2 :-)

And yes - absolutely right - Freestyle is not as nice for spectaors as Airstyle. By far...

Trust me, as long as I live I will keep pushing it until we have a tour like that.
This is what I owe to the sport. It is missing and I know it, and know it has a big future.
I am not the future in this but the kiddies are, too bad they don't get it yet...
Just hoping they make it thru their finding phase and still be able to ride in the future physicallywise...

Well, if you need some help, I would like to offer my help.
I work for a company that is internationally engaged in various fields of business and therefore have extensive knowledge. A forum might not be the right place to discuss this.

But maybe when we meet (in Brazil) lets have a chat. Airstyle might be a passion I´m not good at yet. But when it comes to business, you are in my world :-)

ok, sure!
Sounds good!
When will you be in Brazil?
You can always mail me at info@......

Just had a nice session today with an 18 and 32 m lines...yeah, THAT is TRUE kiteboarding!
Flying in 18-23 knots. Need a bigger lagoon now!

The cool thing is, Airstyle can be done with such an ease...few movements to get going, tiny steering, pull the bar and off you go.
Kite sits above you, you pull sick stuff and land soft. Big show for spectators, and you don't get hurt, giving you the biggest fun and smile on earth.

LOVING IT ! :thumb:

Very nice :-)

I have to supervise the opening of a new office in Latvia, this is why I will only be able to book late and be in Brazil in early/mid January (originally planned to be in Brazil late December/January).

Lets see what we can do for this great sport, I have a few ideas and plans you might like :-)

32m on th 18m2? Holy f.. I thought that must be to slow?

I got a set produced of extensions now:

3/4/5/6/7/8 m. That basically enables me to try any length from 3-15m (Even though I am sure I never need more than 8m)

Maybe this means we can fly all kites with 32m?

Just mail me and I will send you an info.
Would be good to see what we can do!

Did anyone try 20m lines on an 18?
I wonder if it could be flewn up to 30 knots?

Imagine 1 kite and 3 bars...covering 10-30 knots ;-)
Wow...18 in 30 knots sounds like flying...

Anyone?

I have 20, 25 and 28m. I never use 20. Maybe i should. But I thought that in stronger winds the tension on the lines increase and the shorter lines would make the kite even faster.

When you want to use extensions that long. You might want to consider the place where you put the extensions. I mean above or below the Y. A bove the Y might influence the flying characteristics.

On a 5 line bar you need 4 lines set below the Y and 5 above.

Sure, 20m line make it turn faster...but still slower than a 12 on 25m ;-)
But...more hangtime ;-)
