How Long is your depower?
Trim ok?

Try it also with longer lines ;-)

I think trim is fine, kite seemed to be full power when all the way sheeted in. I have the vario cleat adjusted so that I have about 13-15 cm between cleat and top pulley. thats about right for my arms.
but I think the other poster is right. changing the vario cleat position doesn't depower the kite more or less. less space between the pulley and the cleat just allows more depower of the bar.
its hard to compare exactly, it just seemed to me that I could depower the cabrinhas more

I don't know the 13m, I have the 18m. The 18 is known for its power. You have to get used to controling the power thrue your legs and not so much by depowering the kite. Just keep at it.

A couple of days ago I was out with my 13m Dyno when a line broke. (I got a virtually new 2012 dyno kite but the bar and lines were 2011 and used) So I made up some adaptors for the ends of the lines, since the loops and knots are the opposite of the cabrinha lines, and used my 2013 cabrinha bar.
And I think the depower with the cabrinha bar was just about the same as with the north bar. So probably what I am feeling is just the difference in power between the 13 Dyno and the 12m switchblade.I've been using.
