Postby Awn » Thu Dec 05, 2013 10:05 am

Dear All

what are the best footpads for board off

Also how should I set them up, should they be as far apart as possible or Closer to each other?

Thank You

I find the Flysurfer 2013 to be the best ones. Cause they allow easy oversizing. The 2012 obviously can be made bigger if you add a longer strap inside. (Have both here)

Flysurfer pads/straps are made by Concept X I heard in a review of Gleiten TV, so maybe similar concept X straps would do too (100 instead of 150 Euros)?

In general, its mostly the oversizing ability - if you like the rest of the chosen straps/pads thats what it comes down to

Beat me to it...
A lot of the pads I've seen recently have been more comfortable for impacts vs. the FS pads, but NONE of the straps have been as good for big feet...

Thanks for the Concept X info... googling...

The pads are rather less important, but the straps are.
You have to be abl to make them big for easy in and out.
And then they have to be comfortable in the inside.

I am happy with the Flysurfer straps, they can be made huge even for my big 47 feet.
And still are comfortable.

I don't know all on the market, so would be good to hear about more options.

Stance: the taller you are the wider they should be.
But actually try sitting in a chair if you he it on and off quickly with whatever stance.
Use the on that works best.
