North dyno battens

I have a north dyno 13m that I thought was a 2012. It has battens in the sail. I just got another 13m dyno for a friend and a 10m dyno for me both also supposedly 2012 but these two do not have battens. So what gives? Does anybody know about north and the dynos and the battens?

Which colors do they have? Picture?

2011 has battens near tip...and same color as 2011 18 (black, green, white)

The one with battens is white black green, the two new ones are black, dark grey and yellow at tips.

So the battens one should be 2011..lucky you!!!

Not sure about the year of the others...try google and click pictures and find it that way

Looking at photos I think the two new ones are 2012. They have a yellow band out at the tip on one side and an orange band on the other. I don't have my other kite with me but I think it does not have the yellow and orange.
So I take it you like the 2011 dyno better than than 2012? Is there that much difference? The 2011 is in very good shape and the 2012 has only been used one day. I can keep either one and sell the other. Your advice?

Try both and keep the one you prefer!
I only know the 2011 13, not the 2012.
