tried it today with a 18 sqm kite and 27m lines.

Works fine...makes it slow...what I need. I will also test it on a 14 sqm kite...and see how much I can slow it down this way ;-)

it's incredible that north do not want to produce a small set of 2016 bars with loop and hook :\

They rather keep the wake style bars in stock for some years ;-)

I was wondering if you had tried a cut down bar for your tricks. I just figured you needed the wider bars to help loop the kite for things like Jesus Walks and Dark Slides.

I have 14", and a 12.5" bar the 14" works well with my 14m RPM I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

never cut it down...first shorter bar I am using.

Tested one Jesus Walk, but wasn't on flat water yet...will do one day and let you know.
The one I tested was ok.

Remember, I am on 32m lines with my standard bar and 18s...this one has 27m.

I would love to have that bar for wakestyle. on a pure C kite the bar pressure is so much it wears out your grip. In the summer I dont mind but in the winter you have thick gloves and wetsuit so your grip wears out really quick. A microloop would be amazing, saving your grip just for the unhooked tricks, The short bar means the kite will stay at 45. airstyle and wakestyle should both want this kind of bar but I dont see a huge demand for it. Most free riders or wave riders are trying to speed up their kite not slow it down and the microloop scares some of them. Microloop is definitely not for beginners. "Throw the bar out!" "It's still pulling. . . HELP (crash)"

Could be a good beginner bar.
Makes kites slower! A beginner wants that...
Just put the Microloop as add on and then no beginner would have any problem...
