I'm going to rent on vimeo the complete video (available just for one year. .pfff) as I don't have any dvd player.
Can you tell me if you're able to do some slide on strong wind? If you explain on the video the wind point?
Because I'm starting to do some one foot slide to front roll . And im working on the jesus walk butI'm able to do it only with the 15 in slow wind. Because the kiteloop at the end of the move eject me too strong up 12 13 knts. What is the tip to be able to slide with a 16 knts wind without getting f@* ejected by the kiteloop. ?
In high winds, wait longer before you kiteloop. Slide (or jesus walk) for a longer duration in high wind so that you have almost lost your power......then loop.
OK I bought the video on vimeo.
The tips are really for beginners, after its more a motivational video, what ever I do not regret my purchase, you did a lot for the discipline so it's a way to learn by looking and get motivated to try after. Thx.

OK the think is with the sonic flysurfer when the kite is on the side of the window it's totally loosing his power then during the loop it's getting so powerful that I get really smashed. ..also I can't practice on flat water so it's really harder to resist to the loop. The worst is when I don't get the board back to my feet then the loop drive me downwind so long.
Stansxm, I fly inflatable kites, so I can't help much with the flysurfer sonic. For me, I initiate my slides with the kite high in the sky, close to 12 o'clock. Then, in high wind, I slide until the power is almost gone, then loop quickly. Because my kite starts the loop from 12 o'clock, I can loop it through the power zone fast and without generating too much power. Even in high wind, if I wait long enough, the loop gives me just enough power to get back on a plane.
With the sonic, your kite moves more slowly through the power zone on the loop. Do you slide with your kite high (near 12)? Others may be able to help more with flysurfer advice.

ThX for your help I ll try to upload a short clip showing my transition then your guys gonna be able to see all my mistakes
On the videos you should be able to see what my bar and lines are doing to see where the kite is.
But, the more power, the longer you slide and the further back you fly the kite behind the zenith.
This way it will look more on the wind window for less power. If you are underpowered, then you start the kiteloop earlier.
I can do slides with loops in 25 knots with my 18 no problem like this.

Here it is. I can do it only on low wind .this is the beginning. When I try on strong wind I get lift and smashed strong.maybe it's because I'm starting the loop too early. Tell me what you think.
PS I'm not sure I put the video the right way.
It is not a transition. You are looping the kite and keep going same direction you came from.
And you are landing 540, not 360.
Try 360 and don't loop the kite and go to the direction where you came from.
But you nail it with 540, that's nice.
With stronger winds you just fly it further behind the zenith, and then loop it. Looks more like a downloop then...but it is a kiteloop since you loop it backwards.
