Yes, with a heliloop it would be possible.

I assume the hangtime is the same if a 10 and 14 in some more wind.

The 10 gets you higher, but faster down. The 14 the other way around. At the end same time.

But for sure the landing with a 14 is much smoother.
If you add a heliloop, landing with a smaller kite can be smooth too.

For kite control and tricks not with a kiteloop you want to get a kite as big as you can hold. Your progression is a different world.
