My wakeboard is dying on me, and I have a new pair of binding sitting unused, thought maybe its now possible to have one board for both cable and wakestyle on the kite? Any chance to have a universal board to use behind a boat too?

Seach Kscoop, SS Relfex should be the one that do all, but due to big rocker needs a lot wind for kite, most guys complained about Custom and Concept behind boat and cable

Seems like a lot of boards are recommended - the Watson Hybrid, FLX, SS boards. But what are the real parameters to look for?
1. Small rocker (how small do they make them? LF Watson Hybrid is 2,3'', does anybody make boards with smaller rocker?)
2. Continuous rocker - is this critical?
3. Weight should be minimal I guess
And what about Underground boards? They don't have much in terms of specs on their site, but could this be the board?
A Nobile dealer recommended 50/50, but it also doesn't have any specs and its pretty damn expensive

The closes cross over boards would be the Cabrinha Custom or some of the boards from Slingshot. Kiteboards have a different flex pattern than Wake boards.

I'm pretty new to the sport but I've been looking for the same thing. I come from a wakeboard/cable background and picked up kiting a few months ago. My wakeboard right now is an 09 Liquid Force Witness Grind series. Definitely not a strong board for kiting, there's a lot of bottom features adding to drag and the rocker is 2.5" i think. (I tried riding it last weekend just to see how it would go and it was the most tiring session i've ever had just trying to stay upwind. Then again, I'm 6'3" and just over 200lbs, so that doesn't help either with making a wakeboard work for me).
From what I've been reading, the Slingshot Reflex is the way to go if you want a wakeboard you can kite on. I'm going to look a bit more in to the Slingshot Darkside kiteboard though and see if that might hold up ok on a cable if my wakeboard decides to kick the bucket for any reason. I just met a local SS wake rep so hopefully he'll have one I can demo or at least take a look at.
In any case, if you're going to kite with a wakeboard, you'll have to be SUPER lit to ride it. I think i'm shifting more towards looking for a kiteboard that will work on cable rather than a wakeboard that'll work for a kite.

Reckon you need to think which sport you are going to do most?
If more kitesurfing get a wakestyle kiteboard such as influence, concept, custom etc....
If more wakeboarding get a wakeboard that is ok as a kiteboard such a watson hybrid

After getting Watson Hybrid, I have to say kiteboards sucks in cable, huge different to a wakeboard:)
