landing blind

Postby teamfuel36 » Fri Dec 10, 2010 12:53 am

Every time i try to land blind i seem to just slide backwards and not really ride it out :angryfire:, like the pros. Any tips on how to really land blind and make it look good?

you somewhat have to over-rotate, more than 180 degrees so you land with the board going a bit downwind. really pull the bar into your hip and spot your landing.

just keep trying. BS 180's are an easy way to get comfy switching to blind. sometimes you can really get pounded on the raley to blinds catching your heel edge.

don't forget to spot your landing.

most important:

#1 roll your shoulder!
#2 Try to bring your shoulder to your new rear leg knee.

look at the water, this keeps you over your edge and keeps you from spinning 'round
