Is the Trax not to soft for freestyle riding. Seems so soft that you can almost bend it??
I am thinking uh freestyle/wakestyle riding with straps.

I have a 2010 Trax 5 board for sale (Same board as Trax 6 with black graphics instead of white/silver). I am willing to sell it for $650. It is in good condition, a few scrapes on bottom from coral, but otherwise good. Let me know if interested. The board is awesome! If you want a new one, check with bayareakitesurf.com

The Trax5 is not the same as the Trax6 ( It is better IMHO).
The trax is a very fast board that has good pop and excellent landings. it is amazing for freestyle.
i love freestyle and kitelooping hard but my knees are Fu@#ed up so there are two boards that still give me great performance while not breaking my knees on landings (and chop)-
The Fone Trax and the Xenon La-Luz

i would say trax 5 can be more wakestyle but not better. Trax 6 is better on waves , faster , and more knee friendly

If you're looking for a freestyle board , you really should try the 2011 F-one Acid.
Very soft landings but a good pop, alot of rocker what makes it good for freestyle.

I actually sold my Trax last year and went for the TX!
I rode the Trax in 2009, absoluitely loved it, then went for the new trax in 2010... and compared to the old Trax is was way to stiff and felt terrible compared to the old Trax!
I was then told to go for the new 2010 TX as that was basically the old Trax but with different graphics! And... it was and i was extremely happy again!
For this year, 2011, ive got the new TX again and yet again, no changes and its perfect, well aprt from the fins! Unfortunately they have made the fins so you cant replace them with any other make or size. And they are to big so ill have to cut them down.
But imo, the TX is by far the better board! Dont just buy the Trax because they say its the top of the range board and most expensive etc!
