Kiteskate

Postby butterfish » Sat Jan 27, 2018 4:40 pm

hey!

anyone still kiteskating? Looks like the hype is mostly over. why does nobody kiteskating anymore? strapless is "trendy" at the moment, so why not skating? i think this kind of style has a lot of potencial. for me its very impressive when i see some good wakeskater behind a cable or boat. kiteskating is very technical and challangeing. the risk of dangerous injurys is low, if you just do little jumps, spin- and fliptricks.

are here a few kiteskater left? anybody in mood to discous about? talking about various moves and the technical points of modern kiteskates?

cheers

I wakeskate at the cable, but not when kiting.
At the cable park the water is usually super flat and there are plenty of obstacles to grind. It's not particularly fun when it's choppy.

Kiting for me is about boosting and I generally try and avoid obstacles

Two very different sports.

For sure kiteskating must be super challenging. :-?
