I was going to buy a 9m hyperlink for foiling but I found a great deal on a new chrono v2 for a lot cheaper , is the chrono that much more of a beast to use ? I have owned 5 flysurfer kite before but was attracted to the ease of use of the hyperlink. Thanks

You'll be fine.
The Hyperlink is what I prefer though.
Especially when it comes to riding in very tricky gusty conditions and water relaunch.
Also for short line freeriding with quite a bit of looping involved.
The 9m I use the most, massive range and sweet spot (or rather range too).
Cheers
Frank

Consider 9m only if you like to work the kite a lot. I'm happy with 12m.

Thanks guys , the deal on the 9m chrono 2 was no longer so a 9m hyperlink it will be. I will use this kite from 12/20 kts and it will replace my 6/8/10 lei kites.
