See how he can only ride regular heelside, and the camera cuts out every time after the jibe on the H2o, not even a flying one! You also never see him fly toeside regular, let alone goofy heelside or toeside.
As he is for sure is one of the best (or was) big wave rider , regular of course, he has the skill to ride a piece of shit foil, better if over powered, again regular only as shown!
And whats up with the wide bar hand postion, so early days.
How can he claim performance excellent if only judged by a "novice"? W T F
How about a smaller kite?
We use 7m2 in that wind, maybe even smaller if it is a heavy marine wind.
All in all one of the worst kite board hydrofoil videos I have ever wasted my time watching.

HI Guys, Sorry but I am a Novice with regard to racing. I have never raced in any hydrofoil class event and I have not learned to ride switch stance. So therefore, I am a novice, especially if I were to enter a race. Everyone on the race field is more experienced than I. I am not a Novice with freestyle riding for fun. But to race, yes, I am a novice.
I never claimed the performance was excellent, only exceptional. Have another look.
Did not have a smaller kite friend. Only a 12 on hand.
I have seen worst hydrofoil videos, Please post a hydrofoil video of you riding, I would enjoy to watch it.
Regard, Carafino
When I first met you at PKRA Germany 2008 you were racing on your foil. So you had some experience.
Saying that in over 10 years foiling that you have not learned how to ride switch /toeside properly is a joke. It's a basic skill that everyone learns early on before they learn to gybe.
You do not have to be a experienced racer to have the basic skills.
It's sounds like: I cannot ride toeside, but I have been freestyling for 10 years. Does that sound credible to you?
This is what basic touch down gybes and tacks look like that anyone after a few weeks of foiling should be able to learn. Let alone 10+ years.

it sounds very credible to me. Why are you in this fight? you are a competitor both on the water and in the workshop. I though you were above all this hater talk. please continue to promote your foil, how it is made and developed and where we can all buy it. jumping on the mango sucks band wagon will not help you career.

I am in this fight because I do not like it when people portray a wrong picture of the sport.
Saying that foiling is so difficult that one needs years to ride toeside is a blatant lie and I can't let that stand.
