I was the one who spoke to you at the beach yesterday, nice tacks!
There is a group on facebook that would give the best chance 'NZ Kite racing enthusiasts'
there are about 4 people that regularly ride foils on that page in auckland (that I know of)
also in December the nationals will be happening and a foil class has been set up.
