How did the foil championships in SF go ?

Postby Peter_Frank » Sun Oct 13, 2013 5:49 pm

It seems to be mixed classes, foil and raceboards together - so interesting to see how the "new sport" can compete in its baby stage :thumb:

Heineken won the foil class apparently (saw the result after 8 races, and untouchable now), but dont know if it is over or a race sunday too ?

How about Adam Koch and others ?

Great :thumb:

Adam is getting pretty fast pretty fast so to speak  (I understand he has just started and a "newbee")

Although a bit confused as I saw a live cam and commentators from the Bay yesterday, and there were both foils and raceboards mixed on the course.

But maybe a different regatta ending the same week ?

There must be some locals who can clarify ?

What you saw, must have been the last Lagunitas thursday race regatta, where the race was open class and also used as a "warm up" for the State Championship
