In that first photo :
your foil must be fairly Light --- for that guy to turn the board & foil
up sideways like that, with just One hand ?

Yeah carbon foils are very light compared to aluminum ones.

Well that's not pretty.
I guess after the previous post about other brands this was always gunna happen!

Looks like its only rapped in a thin layer of carbon to give it the look on the outside

That is called reverse engineering. Just like the Japanese cars, they buy American cars , take it apart and see if they can improve on it. Saves a bundle in just 5 minutes, as Gecko likes to say.
