Aaah, okay.
My advice would be to start with a really big and floaty board, that points a bit "up".
This way you can ride on it, without foiling, to start with - thus learn to handle foil things much faster
Later, when experienced, you can use your "minimal" strapless plank
But for starters, a big board and straps will help IMO.
Just an advice from my experiences....

Hawaiis,
Do you mean 900 cm2 both wings or just the front wing?

900cm is about 1 square foot, that is the standard front wing size. Yours is on the small side.

Thanks Hawaiis,
Have you been able to progress on the bidirectional foil?

Yes, I have filed for a US patent, and need to file for international patent before start production and marketing.

But for what rider weight ? 60 kg or 150 or something in between ?
It seems that size does not matter that much actually, and especially for racing and performance, you go down in size a lot of course, and just ride with a bit higher speed instead
I would not worry about the size (but still important to know of course, so Hawaiis info is great)

Windfreak,
respect! Specially because, judging from the background of your photos, you also have to log some baby(ies) time, which I found out to be extremely hard work ! (after more than a year of parenting I still haven't had time to install some wallpaper on the house, let alone building a hydrofoil from scratch!)
question from a complete foil illiterate: how do you guys decide on the wing profile? is it symmetrical or asymmetrical? if symmetrical, does it have to be angled in relation to the fuselage in order to generate lift? or it's the rider's weight/pushing of the feet that creates the angle of attack needed to generate lift? hmmm... guess I just answered it myself. Or not? Anyone using an asymmetrical profile out there?

Obrigado Lobo do mar!
My wings are asimetrical!
flat on the bottom and foil shaped on top.
i guess most wings are asimetrical
Maybe the back wing is simetrical but mine is not!
Bons Ventos!

After taking consideration on wing size and fuselaje mast connection, I decided build a new fuselaje and a front wing
New wing 800 cm2
New fuselaje will be thicker 50mm x 50mm on the mast connection
fuselaje v1 28mm x 50mm on mast connection.
