So Spotz foil is ordered, but I want to mount it on a regular kiteboard (North wave) but where do I find the right location. On most photos I can see it's somewhere just I front of the rear foot strap. Is there any science to this or do I just copy the distance from the rear foot strap on a Spotz board and use it on mine?

The distance from the strap to the box on the spotz board should work with every board. If you dont have the distance I can messure what I have if interest.

On my board the centre of the Spotz Tuttle box is
- 40 cm from the back of the board
- 20 cm from the centre of the back footstrap
- 47 cm from the centres of the front footstaps

I find this well balanced.

This is from where I have my footstrap:
From the center of the backstrap to center of tuttlebox there are 20 cm. and
From the front insert of the backfootstrap to the back hole of the tuttlebox there are 6,5 cm.

This is the info from Spotz!!! JPG attached. We have found it a bit better with the front straps a bit more forward than this JPG.

Yes, the distance from the front strap is the only important parameter. The recommendation of Jerome, the shaper of Spotz went up from 27 to 32 cms, I agree that a bit even more will not hurt.
