I think it is at the point with the different brands out there .. there really isn't much you can do to change it up. Looks a lot like the sword body, franky's wings
The body is a prefect foil shape as well for the low drag race end of the foil world. To come up with something totally different is going to take a lot of R&D. It isn't just a matter of slaping carbon down without the layup or it will twist and flex like no other. There is some other space age stuff coming on the market so you never know what is coming next
I think Carafino and MHL are on the right direction with the cost effective foils for the general public. For the Racers they want the fastest they can get and price is unlimited 90% of the time for speed. It cost money to go fast.
It is going to come down to cost of foils to the end buyer

Yes, I checked with Ludovic, new owner of Sword and they confirm it is a copy of their brand. However, they confirm the aqua dynamics of the foil are not correct due to the changes KFA made to conceal the copy. I guess they will have to test the race ability on the course.
Will see.
